Dog Walking around St. Ives

In the winter and early spring, dogs have unlimited access to all our beautiful beaches, so it’s the perfect time for long, sandy adventures. During the summer months there are a few restrictions on some beaches, but you can still enjoy them with your dog before 10am and after 6pm.

If you’re visiting in peak season, Bamaluz Beach (tucked near Smeaton’s Pier and the St Ives Museum) is dog-friendly all year round – a great little spot for a seaside stroll whatever the season.

And it’s not just about the beaches. St Ives is surrounded by beautiful coastal paths that are perfect for dogs who love a good explore. Head out along the South West Coast Path towards Zennor for breathtaking sea views, fresh salty air and plenty of space to roam. It’s hard to beat a cliff-top walk with your dog, watching the waves roll in below.

Fresh air, stunning scenery and a happy dog… that’s what holidays in St Ives are all about. 🐾
